A: 15-30 pounds depending. Small lap dogs!

A: heat is when a female dog is able to breed. They bleed during this time similar to a woman's period.

Q: What should I buy for my pug? -
A: A great soft pillow or blanket, some nice toys, a comfortable collar, a harness, a leash...the list goes on.....

A: Yes pugs eat normal dog food. I ate PUrina one fer years and then my mama switched me to Nutro Senior

A: She can be spayed after her first heat. If you are unsure if she has been in heat yet, wait until the next one. As for food, actual amount depends on what type you are feeding her. Obviously avoid wet/canned food right now due to the recall (march 07) so choose a raw diet or kibble. Follow the guidelines on the package and split that amount over two or three meals. IT is best to feed your pug at your meal times creating a schedule.

A: Keep taking care of your rabbits and show that you are responisible. also offer to do work to pay fo rth dog yourself.

A: It took me almost a year to stop marking up my mama's new apartment, now I never go inside anymore! Sometimes it is the routine. Has there also been a routine change, like a job change keeping you out of th house more!

Q: My pug has a little brindle colored fur. Does this mean she may have some other breed in her bloodlines. Thanks -
A: no brindle is a pug color! Look more towards hher facial features, her stance and her ears for mixed breeds.

Q: Question: What if my pug got pregnant at 7month old? -
A: Well, take her to the vet and make sure she has proper care. It is too young for her to have a litter, but it is done, so give her the best care you can offer.

Q: i have a female pug and a male pug that is her brother. what do you think is better, getting him fixed or keeping him away from her? -
A: I would get her fixed. It is much less evasive and cruel. I do not feel that neutering is natural for reasons beyond health. But just hoping to keep them apart is pressing your luck.

A: No!

Q: When you breed pugs during the "process" Does the girl bleed alot? -
A: not usually. The female pug does bleed during her heat, but the actual act should not cause any additional bleeding.

Q: how old must the pug puppy be to take there first bath -
A: a general rule of thumb is when your puppy NEEDS a bath, meaning it is stinky and dirty then it is probably ready to have a bath. After about 5 to 8 weeks, you can give a quick bath in the sink on a regular basis

A: MOst groomers will not groom a dog under 5 weeks of age.
