Q: Question my pug has a bad yeast infection on her face causing the hair aound her eyes to fall out, she is being treated for this, will the hair grow back? -
A: Yes, the haird does grow back. As soon as the area starts to heal/clear up, the hair will grow back. At first you may notice patches where there is hair but the skin may be a lightly different color, but that will gradually go away as well.

Q: my new pug got him today hes six in a half weeks old hes sneezing a bit and his nose has bubbly snot is he sick ot is this natural -
A: that's pretty normal

Q: how old does a pug puppy have to be before getting their first bath -
A: The general rule of thumb is: Give a puppy its first bath whenever its natural doggie odor becomes too stinky to take! Most groomers suggest waiting until the puppy is 5 weeks old at least! *snort* Y*snort* a bath in a kitchen sink or bathroom sink should be fine at that point

Q: How long can you leave a pug alone inside? -
A: If your pug has a litter box, then longer than if he doesn't. All dogs need to be able to relieve themselves at a normal span of time. Adult dogs shoul dbe walked every 4 to 6 hours. Puppies more often.

Q: Question Do pugs have smelly breath -
A: Some do! but so do many humans!

Q: Why does my pug love to chew so much - especially wood and cardboard. I give her toys. -
A: I bet she's a puppy! She's probably teething! I loved wood and cardboard when I was a puppy! I chewed a rung off my mama's ladder to her loft bed! And ate a lot of record sleeves. *snort* Try a really big dingo treat! Huge! way to big to swallow or choke. Your pu g will chew on it for ever and it will be a good substitute for wood!

Q: why do you snort? -
A: Cause i have smushed nose *snort*

Q: My male pug has an inverted nipple and it appaear to have got an infection of some sort, it's black around the edges and seems to be bothering him please HELP?!?!?! -
A: I have an inverted nipple, but it never bothers me. My MaMa cleans out the "pus" that gets into it about once a week or so. *snort* clean the nipple out and put some bacitracin/neosporin on it. Keep it clean basically. If it doesn't clear up, take your dog to the vet to get a high dose of antibiotics to clear up the infection.

Q: how can i get my pug to stop shedding so bad -
A: A Furminator is GREAT! also regular baths and a healthy diet. Pugs shed! That's a given, but the healthier your pug's coat and skin, the less fur on your couch. Generally if your pug lick and itches, it also sheds more!

Q: do pugs get sick easily? -
A: I'm almost 11. I've been sick once! Except that time when I ate the chocolate.

Q: is it true that if a pug is left in the heat for 30 minuets it could die and also how long can pugs live up to???? -
A: If it is hot enough, any dog could die in the heat in 30 minutes, especially if left in a car!!!! Pugs live about 14-17 years.

Q: Whats'up Chewie? Alright I got a pug givin' to me for my birthday last year and he is everything to me, but he has a couple issues. First, he has these little bumps on his chin and they look pretty painful, what are they? and how do I get rid of them? Second, He has really, really bad hot-spots all over his back and the poor baby cries when he chews them. I'm always giving him a bath but they just wont go away, the biggest problem is I dont have the money to take him to the vet, and it hurts me to see him in so much agony. Please Help!! -
A: The bumps on his chin are probably what we call pug pimples. Try changing his bowls from plastic bowls to ceramic or metal. Also try changing his food to something more natural. *snort* As for the hot spots, pick up some medicated shampoo at the pet store. And possibly some hot spot spray to prevent itching. Call your local aspca and ask for information on low cost vet assistance. They may be able to point you to a vet who can get your pug healthy for not so much.

Q: Do you have any suggestion on how to stop my 14 wk old pug from biting I NEED HELP haha?? -
A: Your pug is teething. It needs to bite. Have plenty of toys to substitue for your fingers. rubbery toys are great as are ice cubes. *snort* Whatever your pug likes to chew on. Give lots of praise for chewing on the correct toy. Make them want to chew on the toy.

Q: is it true female pugs have to have c-sections? -
A: not really *snort* most pugs will have normal births. Some pugs have problems and need a c-section. People will often use that to dissuade people from breeding pugs, but it is not as common as it seems. With that said, you must keep an eye on your birthing pug and be prepared if there are complications

Q: Question Do pugs go into heat twice a year? -
A: Yes, about every six months.
