A: Maybe...Try washing yo9ur pug in a different shampoo, you may be allergic to the shampoo on your pug as you rub your face all over it. or your hands on the pug and then the pug on yhour face.

Q: My Pug was coughing and gagging. I came here to see if I could find an answer. Well I took her to the vet and come to find out it was a sinus infection!! Antibiotics was the remedy. Just wanted to let others know that a cough sometimes isnt something to get real worried about. Although I was. thank u 4 this page LOVE IT -
A: Great! A cough could be kennel cough, a sinis infection, or just allergies. My mama always waits 24 hours to see if the cough goes away and then takes me to the vet. Usually just antibiotics or antihistimines work great! Thank you for sharing!

A: at least three times a day. Whatever food you choose, look at th packaging and split that between a few meals.

Q: Question our pug dog had her first heat at 11 months we are waiting for her second heat which should have been in November some say it can take up to a year to have a second heat. We would like to breed her. She is 20 lbs. and seem to be in good health. When she was a pup the vet told us she had mites but we cleared this up. Will this affect her puppies or her if we breed her, and how hard is it to give birth. We have bred rabbits, guinea pigs, deer, buffalo and llamas, but the dog thing is a whole differant ball game to me. -
A: As long as the mites are cleared up, then it will not effect the pups or the pug! *snort* the birth is not hard, you just need to pay attention in case she needs help. sometimes pugs have difficulty on their own, but if you've attended over other animals, you will be fine.

A: yes, some plants make pugs sick. especially decorative ones that are treated with chemicals

Q: what is the best way to clean the folds around the nose. and what do you use to clean? My boy is always itching his face. -
A: My mama uses her fingers so its real quick. Sometimes she uses a wet q-tip, but I don't like that as much. I clean my own folds each morning when I get up to by licking my paws and rubbing my folds. I do this twice on each side. *snort* my mama sez its cause i was raised my a cat.
