A: Grapes can be bad, but some dogs eat them all the time......my mama never feeds them to me just in case! Pretzels and french fries are so good! Mah Mama takes me to get fries all the time. I don't eat toys and your human probably thinks you shouldn't eat toys because they have to buy new ones!

A: There ar fawn and black pugs officially, but apricot, brindle and silver pugs also exist. Puggles come in many shades, but often have neat apricot coloring

Q: My pug snuffles just ate 6 brownies. I called the vet he said to give her peroxide till she throws up.She did throw up, but I am still worried. The vet said this is all they can do. Do you think she will be okay? - sarah
A: It's hard to tell. You need to take your pug to a new vet. That vet sounds a bit off. When Chewie ate some godiva chocolates, I was told to call poison control and if it was a dangerous amount to rush him to the vet. He had his stomach pumped, fluids pumped into him and was fed charcoal. He then stayed on a IV for a night. I broght him home from the emergency vet and he had a seizure a few hours later. I took him to my normal vet, where they went through the whole pump/charcol/IV process again. He was touch and go for three days before being released. My vet said he never should have been released from the ER vet. Throwing up once does not rid the stomach or blood system of poison from chocolate. Peroxide is usually used if your dog eats some pills or you overdose him with medication. It can sometimes be used as an emergency remedy when your dog gets into household poisons, before being taken to the vet. All in all. It depends on how many brownies, what kind of chocolate you used to make them and how your dog reacts. I hope she's okay!

A: She'll probably be okay if it was a small screw. If you're worried because the screw was huge and scary, contact the vet to see what signs you should look out for.

A: try flavoring the water with chicken stock (don't let it sit out too much) until the puppy get used to drinking. Also try changing bowls. LE mops would not use the water bowl for a few weeks, instead we gave him water in a very small porcelain bowl that did not scare him.

Q: Question Are fawn pug pups ever fawn in color when they are born? I have a male and female pug and they had a litter of pups 6 of them two days ago. The mom had a bad time haveing them and all have slowly died but one. The mom really is a bad mom and I have been bottle feeding them but to no avail they didnt seem to have the ability to suck. I have one remaining female I want to remove from the mom and feed my self as I feel I can do a better job.as she takes to the bottle well. A: Some fawn puppies are born fawn! Those will usually end up very light in color with little to no black on the body. the face will still have the black markings. DOn't worry!

Q: My pug had a cold, and now his snot has dried and built up between his wrinkles. It's really hard to get the snot out. What do I do? - Bob
A: use wet q-tips or tissues. You can even use ear cleaning solution. The best bet may be to give him a bath (or shower) and let some of that snot get moist on its own. Then manually remove the rest.

A: You'll be okay. You'll just grow up a bit faster. Make sure your hoomans take you to a vet and keep good care over you the whole time!

Q: Question My Pug is 18 years old. He has lost 1/2 of his teeth, he has various tumors around his under tummy area and recently he eats mush less, is looking thinner and is having trouble walking. A: In my family, we always say the dog tells you when he is ready to go. We'll hold on and keep him as comfortable as possible until he stops eating completely. YOu can usually tell by looking in your dog's eyes if he is ready. Does he still long to be with you and seem like he's at least comfortable? Good luck and I'm sorry! take care of your baby!

A: While raisins are toxic and can cause kidney damage, a piece of raisin bread probably won't get you sick. YOur mom or dad should keep an eye on you and make sure you are going pee right and not holding it, check for vomiting, and monitor you to see if you get lathargic (too sleepy!) then a trip to the vet will probably be in order! I once ate a whole box of raisins and nothing happened!
