Q: Question my pug keeps scratching his self. I have given him flea baths. I don't think it is fleas because nothing is biting us. I don't have money to take him to the vet right now. is there any thing over the counter for him. thanks max -
A: Try bathing every week until the wether cools down. Also there are hot spot anti-itch sprays that work well and are inexpensive. Most likely it is allergies, so keep him bathed and brushed to keep his dander at bay *snort* I itch alot too! good luck Max.

Q: my 8 week old pup is very aggressive and bites everyone, sometimes he is sweet and cuddly. Is this normal? -
A: Is it a playful bit, which is normal or it a mean bite. He is young and teething and will want to bite everything and play! But if he is attacking other animals and people then it is not "normal". Pugs ar elike little bulls and think they are smaller than they are, but also think they are a big dog when it comes to playing. So they don't realize they are so aggressive at times, and they want to play....When you pug starts biting, give him a toy and redirect his aggression to the toy. Praise him for geting the toy...Try positive reinforcement. The angrier you get, the angrier your pug will get.

Q: I like to pinch doggie's nose and make him sneeze. Is this OK? -
A: are you doing real mean, or is it cute? If you aren't pinching hard, it seems playful and fun. But if you are on here asking if it is okay, you are probably being too rough and feeling a bit guilty. Annoying your dog will not a great pet make.

A: after about the 6th or 7th month normally and then about every 6 months after that.
