Q: my pug just starded snorting and looks like dry heaving . she has a problem with trying to eat the toilet paper. could it be stuck in her throat, or is it some thing else? -
A: Sounds likre reverse heaving. Lead her to water and have her drink. If it is indeed toilet paper, it should wash down and the water will help her, but more likely it is reverse sneezing.

Q: I have a 4 month year old pug and about 1 month ago I noticed two bald-thinning spots between his left eye and ear. I took him to the vet and she said it wasn't mange or ringworm but she didn't know what it was, so to just watch it. Well, now the two spots look like they are joining but they don't seem to be bothering him. He doesn't scratch at the spots and he is current on his Advantix. The spots aren't red or pink just regular skin color. I don't want to keep taking him to the vet but I don't know what else to do. Please let me know what you think. -
A: I've been gettinga lot of emails recently about bald spots with no explanation. It seems strange, but perhaps change your pug's diet or add nutrint suplements to his food. Sometimes the bald spots can be caused by the dog not getting enough nutrients and even stress. *snort* your dog might have anxiety being left alone too much or the pressue of potty training.

A: Hi Max! *snort* pugs shed, that's what they do. Weekly baths and constant brushing will help. Some people swear by adding fish oil and garlic to food, in a powder pill, or oil usually. There are several vitamins on the mmarket that claim to reduce shedding, but it really comes down to your pug and he matobilizes the vitamins. *snort* My mama bathes me every monday and brushes my hair every couple days otherwise i shed to much. Bt then it all comes back when I get stressed.

Q: Can i feed my pug puppy apple pieces? -
A: small pieces should be fine

Q: how long does it take for a pug to give birth? -
A: about 60 das give or take a couple for pregnancy and a few hours for the birth. It depend on the pug of course! The process could take up to 12 hours in some cases!

Q: Question is it fine tofeed pugs sardnes or Tuna? is there anything they should not eat at all? can they eat fruits? -
A: Corn is not so good--it is hard to digest. Corn on the Cob is a big no! Onions and anything with onion powder is awful. Tuna is fine. Fun recipes..Most fruit is okay, but no GRAPES or RAISINS

Q: How can i stop my pug Beau Tyson who is 7 months old to stop leaving out of the yard? -
A: Better fence. YOu have a fence right? Pugs aren't really stay outdoor by themselves a lot kind of dogs. But any dog that staysoutside needs a good fence *snort* also give your dog a house of some sort outside, so he hhas a place to stay.

A: Is your pug fixed? Neurtering you pug will stop this. Otherwise just keep it clean so it doesn't get on the sofa! It's pretty normal actually, unless it's large amounts!

A: YES...usually until about 2 or 3

A: I tried it, but not for long..Start as a puppy! Raw diets are very healthy for you pug.

A: I like cats....

A: Probably allergies..are there any other symptons???

A: Can be as small as 6 lbs and as big as 12 lbs.

A: Pugs are not usually outdoor dogs...They are more lap dogs and require a lot of care and attention compared to other dogs.
