A: That is very young to breed a pug. Please take her to the vet as soon as possible. The vet will do an ulttrasound to check the size of the pups and the birth canal. The vet can also help if any complications arise. Please go to the vet.

A: Stand up for yourself, but avoid violence and if all else fails *snort* let someone know. When dogs bully me at the dog park, I turn and face them and let them know I'm not scared. But I don't bullythem back. Then sometimes I hide behind my mama *schnurf*

Q: I really don't understand my cat sisters. Betty and Becky. Betty will attack Becky and chase her away (and steal her food), Becky will sneak up attack Betty from the back. You might think they hate each other but every night they snuggle up and sleep together. I'm confused. Hissing and clawing during the day. Purring and grooming during the night. Either they're quite forgiving or just crazy in the head. Mom and I don't know what to think, could you help a fellow pug make up his mind, please ? -
A: cats are mostly just crazy in the head *snort* but your sisters sound just like a normal family siblings--playing and fighting one minute and hanging out laughing and cuddling up the next.

Q: If I buy a small long-haired dog and keep it shaved, will I have to give it a bath often or just once in a while like regular short-haired dogs ? -
A: Short haired dogs get baths just as much as long haired dogs. It depends on the dog how much it needs to be bathed. Dogs with allergies need to be bathed more to remove extra dander and some dry skin. Dogs with dry skin may nee dto be bathed less so the skin is not irritated. SOme dogs get into dirt more, some aren't active at all. All dogs should be bathed and kept clean on a regular basis. Keeping a dog completely shaved, isn't goingto keep it clean, it will just be less work brushing and removing matted hair and tangles.

Q: can pugs get pregnat with one time i have 3 females and my first 2 females were in heat and my male pug just could not get the wright spot and my last female is now in heat and he got her today but is now kinda ignoring her ami doing some thing wrong -
A: some pugs can get pregnant with just one try *snort* my sister had puppies after just one time. *schnurf* Make sure you keep the dogs together as much as possible. They will usually only breed a few times over about three days in the last week of the dog's heat.

A: mother's milk is still best for newborn puppiesuntil about 4 weeks *snort* with your puppy, you must decide what kind of diest path you want to take. *snort* store bought food (which should be specially formulated for puppies), a raw diet (bones will need tobe ground until past 7 weeks of age)....whatever you decide, puppies should be feed small meals 4-5 times a day.

A: *snort* not like cat's bellys that have a noticeable drop *snort* but i've seen some dogs bellys get so big in teh last couple of weeks of pregnancy that they do appear to have dropped. *snort* the tempurature does drop about 5 degrees when gestation is close to ending

A: Pugs are a lot of responsibility, just like any pet. *snort* you should talk to your parents about whether you are ready for any pet and ifthey are ready *snort* as you will be at school and out with friends, so the dog will spend a lot of time with your family without you. *snort* pugs are great with kids, and are loveable, and cuddable *SNURF* there is no reason why you shouldn'tget a pug *snort* that i know of

A: for the millionith time *snort* teacup pugs are not so good, but try craigslist, your newspaper, or google--only click on a breeder site, not an informational site. And stop leaving me rude notes because you can't navigate the web.

A: the vet says the tumor was benign and my MaMa just has to watch for more to pop up. She is concerned because it popped up in less than two weeks to the size of a quarter or more...right in my arm pit. *snort* thank you for visiting my site.

A: It is common for Pugs to require a caesarian section to give birth, so if after an hour after labor starts there are no puppies, Call a vet!!!! Visit a vet now and ask all the questions you have.
