Q: Question I dont know but I think my pug is going to have babies is there anyway that you can tell??? -
A: she will gain weight around the 5th week. *snort* Her nipples will also get harder and bigger, sometimes leaking milk in the days before birth. *snort* she will be lazier and she may get morning sickness after a couple weeks *schnurf* A vet can do a test after the fourth week; it is inexpensive and a good idea.

A: is pepper a girl pug *snort* that is normal usually, but if it is a male *snort* and it continues, then you should see a vet. *snort* anytime blood is in such an amount to worry you, you should see a vet.

Q: would like to know wh at kind food do you recommend to feed a pug i have a male 3.5 years old, and feed him dry dog food about 1.5-2cups a day, but i want to make sure he is eating healthy and good food any suggestions. also i am considering getting him fixed, he is very stubborn at times and luves to mark his territroy inside...hope u can help... -
A: I eat Purina One cause I love it *snort* MaMa will give me 2 cups (plus maybe some extra a day *snort* When my skin gets dry, she gives me supplements...EVeryone will tell you different things, but in the end end if you pug seem so kay, he probably is....Just make sure the dry dog food is for active dogs......I am almost nine and not neutered and my MaMa says it's time for fear of cancer. My original daddy was a vet and told my MaMa to let me keep my boys when she adopted me. *snort* Unfortunatelythe marking is a learned behavior as well, and may not go away with being neutered.

Q: Recently, I've had a weird dream. In my dream I bought an old castle style home where strange things happen. It's full of frendly ghosts unicorns and a very nice skeleton called MR. Bones. The point is, in my dream, it's a creepy and crappy place but I love it. It's my beloved crappy place but I'm always running around to make sure no rooms collapse or vanish. A: those are great. *snort* My MaMa just got a video camera and is planning to add movies soon.

Q: Question Can you treat a pugs dry skin with cod liver oil or vitamin e? -
A: My MaMa has used tea tree oil and it is perfectly safe, but a bit smelly *snort* Vitamin E is also good...BOth applied directly to skin. Cod liver oil in the diet can also reduce dry skin.

Q: Is it just me or black pugs are not that popular ? -
A: Frank in Men in Black made fawn pugs the more popular choice. *snort* but both are adorable.

Q: In my country, pugs are pretty rare. The other day, there was one up for adoption at a shelther, but before I could call, the pug was adopted. Pugs are a blessing, and they get adopted right away. (That pug got adopted the day it was brought in). IT's great of course, but how can I adopt one if there are none ? -

A: My mama is home all the time *snort* but yesterday she left me fer hours by myself. the man walked me twice *snort* I was real lonely and excited to see her *schnurf*

Q: How often do pugs need their faces to be washed ? -
A: depends on the weather and location *snort* mama washes my fold daily during the hot, dusty summers and just when

Q: my pug is pregnant, are there any special foods i need to feed her? what steps should i take to care for her during her pregnancy? -
A: about the 6th week, increase meals, but only add supplements--calcium with vitamin d--if she is a finicky eater and only if reccomended by vet. Store bought food should have 1600 digestible calories per pound of food and at least 21 percent protein--puppy food has the extra supplements, but not the needed energy builder *snorT* Some people reccommend a cooked egg for breakfast, some cottage cheese for lunch, and some raw chicken or beef for dinner along with the normal food. The important part is to increase food intake (lots of small meals throughout day) around the 6th week by 25-50%....if your pug doesn't want to eat, try moistoning the food. Do not withhold food; increasing the number of feedings per day is helpful in allowing her to eat enough for her needs and those of the puppies. Make sure you have your pug dewormed (the worms will pass through the placenta (this is one of the cruel ways that mini-pugs are created))*snort* Don't let mom be jumping off couches afetr her third week. Around the 7th week, prepare a place for the birth. *snortg* someplace out of the way. A large container lined with towels will work After the pups are norn, the appetitie will increase even more *schnurf* if youa regiving her supllements or special food, continue it, she needs the same and more nutrients you offered during pregnancy Most important, visit your vet *snort* all pugs are different and any number of complications can arise keep me updated *snort*
